FarmAgric Foundation for Agriculture is partnering with the GIZ programme Skills Development for Youth Employment – SKYE, to initiate the ASAP project with the aim to train and empower 500 young persons who are interested in agriculture.. This training will be carried out using global standard training modules.
The objective of the ASAP is to efficiently train young people on contemporary agricultural techniques, create awareness on standardized farming practices and make financial aid available to outstanding trainees.
Through this program, 500 youths will be equipped with requisite skills and knowledge through theoretical and practical agricultural trainings; in order to create income generating employment opportunities and ventures.
At the end of the ASAP project we would have successfully increased youth participation and interest in agriculture. Direct and indirect employment opportunities would be created – decreasing unemployment rate and enhancing economic growth.
